Entity field types

Different field types and their application

While configuring your entity fields, you need to select a specific field type according to your preferences and input data. Here is an overview of each field type. For more information have a look at the linked articles. 

Date Picker

Field that allows the user to select a date from a calendar and/or time from a time range. It is displayed as a calendar pop-up widget:

File

Field that allows the user to upload files like images, documents, etc. You can choose between two field renderer widgets here: Single File, Multiple File.

List Field

Fields that display data and provide certain functions. The field renderers for these fields could be the following widgets:

    • Radio Button

    • Pearl Chain

Location Search Field

Search input field that suggests the valid locations according to what the user types. It is displayed as the following widget:

Rich Text Field

Simple Text Field

Single Line Input Field

A single text box that accepts any type of text up to 255 characters.Single_line_input_field.png

Term Search Field

Field that returns the data that contains an exact term in a provided field.Term_search_field.png
