Use the ITONICS API to GET and SEND content

What is it? 

ITONICS offers a standardized REST-API that can be used to access and input information from and to the ITONICS application.

The REST API can assist in enabling the communication of data between the ITONICS tool and another application, regarding Create, Read, and Update operations.
All fields and properties that you configure in your ITONICS application are dynamically made available as endpoints for the REST API. You can use these endpoints to create integrations with other tools that also offer an API.

Please note that ITONICS currently only offers native integrations to some tools (e.g. Crunchbase, Tracxn, Salesforce etc.), but not an integration interface. Integrations that are not currently in scope require additional configuration effort, however, can be created via the REST-API.

How does it work? 

To use the API, it first needs to be enabled by your Customer Innovation Success Manager. Afterward, you should create a specific role and define the access rights for this role.

You will need to go to the Settings Wheel > Entity Configuration > Entity Configuration. From there, enter the entity-specific permissions tab. Find the permission, 'access the resource [entity name]', and allow this for the role that you have just created.
