Inheriting parent field values during child element creation
We have introduced a new functionality that enables automatic inheritance of field values from a parent element to a child element. This enhancement streamlines the management of parent campaigns and child idea intake, ensuring seamless alignment across parent-child workflows. For example, a responsible user assigned to a parent element can now be automatically inherited during child element creation, reducing manual effort and improving consistency.
Grouping of entity types in the Explorer navigation
We have implemented a new configuration that enhances the Explorer navigation dropdown by enabling the grouping of entity types. This update helps guide users more effectively and provides additional context information. Instead of displaying all accessible entity types in a long list, entity types can now be organized into groups based on use cases or domains. For example, a Technology Portfolio Management group can be created to consolidate all entity types relevant to that specific use case. This improvement makes navigation more intuitive and ensures users can quickly find what they need.
Notification improvements for child submission
We have enhanced the parent-child feature by introducing a new option to notify users assigned to a user search or user group search field on the parent element about new child submissions. This ensures that responsible users stay informed about new child element submissions, creating a more transparent and efficient workflow for managing parent-child relationships.
