Upcoming Release - Enterprise 3.14.0 - Radiant Raspberry (by end of Q3 2023)

Global saved filters

We will implement the new functionality to save filters globally. The functionality can be used to easily save and share filter settings with selected users and user roles, or even make saved filters publicly available within the system to easily achieve a collective view of relevant elements.

Configurable cards on the Board

We will introduce a new functionality to the Board, which enables you to add one configurable label (similar to the dynamic flags) to the element cards on the Board. This way, you can provide additional information to make the Board more informative for your stakeholders.

Dashboard filters

We will introduce a new functionality to filter your configured dashboard pages. This will enable you to further deep-dive into the specifics of your data and provide more informative dashboard views.

Besides, you may already anticipate the following in the upcoming release:

API 

• Improve the REST API by adjusting the error responses for mandatory fields to be more explicit and descriptive to reduce confusion when working with the API.

Campaigns 

• Add an option to define tooltips and help texts for all submission fields.

Dashboard 

• Improve the consistency within dashboards by displaying both absolute and relative values for each chart type.

Export/Import

• Improve the table import feature by reducing manual effort, increasing consistency and stability.

• Small quality of life improvement to ensure that always the first worksheet in an Excel export is opened.

Landing page

• Multi-language support for your custom landing page widgets to reflect users’ language preferences.

Matrix

• Provide an option to avoid label collision to foster better reporting of the Matrix tool.

Network Graph

• Enable filtering for only related elements within the Network Graph to increase understandability for reporting purposes.

• Introduce a new option on the element detail page to directly jump from an element to the Network Graph to see a prefiltered view of all relations of the respective element, making it straightforward to link and visualize the relations between elements.

Ratings

• Improve feasibility of rating within multiple contexts.

Roadmap

• Introduce a functionality to change element visibility on the Roadmap to increase flexibility for what to show users on the Roadmap.
• Improve UI design of element titles on the Roadmap to increase readability.
• Handle edge cases around Roadmap scenarios when removing elements from the Roadmap.

Technical improvements

• Improve the performance of the user search field.

UI/UX

• UI improvement to highlight further menu points in the navigation bar via three dots.

• UI improvement to facilitate bulk rating in campaigns.

User Management

• Add the user status information to the Excel export for reporting purposes.
• Improve working with user groups by introducing additional sorting functionalities.

Working with elements 

• Facilitate duplicate prevention by adjusting the number of characters that are required for the duplicate check to start.
• Quality of life improvement to change that PDFs referenced on an element do not automatically open or download, but you are first asked to confirm.

Project convert for submissions within campaigns

We will implement a new functionality to convert submissions/ideas within a campaign into winning projects directly. This way, you can easily initiate projects based on sound ideas.

Landing page

We will implement further dynamic element and banner widgets on the landing page that will help you to guide and draw users’ attention to specific elements and information.

Element sidebar configuration

You will soon be able to configure the element sidebar according to your needs, displaying more in-depth information. Currently, we statically display the element’s title, profile image, abstract, creator, segmentation, ratings and relations.

Besides, you may already anticipate the following:

Explorer

• Add a new filter functionality to filter and search for element IDs.

Newsletter

• Introduce a new option to copy existing newsletters.

Notifications

• Introduce further notifications to automatically engage with an idea submitter after the initial submission within a campaign and inform about further steps of her/his submission.

Radar

• Enable filtering for only related elements to increase understandability for reporting purposes.

Ratings

• Introduce a new option to set specific rating criteria as mandatory within campaigns.

Working with elements

• New option in "Provide permission" to share all permissions at once.

• Introduce multi-entity type support for the Inspirator App.

Radar

• Allow to configure multiple radars to enable different segmentations of the same entity type.

Working with Elements

• Introduce a new functionality that notifies users about potentially interesting elements based on their interests.
• Add a new configuration option to add explanatory meta information and examples for entity types and configured fields for better end user experience and engagement.
