Upcoming release - Enterprise 3.24.0 - Fantastic Fig (by the beginning of Q2 2026)

Improved task management

We are significantly enhancing the task feature to help your team stay on track and boost engagement. We are enabling the system to send predefined reminders to assignees, ensuring tasks are picked up and completed promptly. Furthermore, we are  improving the Task module overview to display all of a user's assigned work in a clearer, more easy-to-manage format. Finally, richer task filter capabilities will be implemented, making it faster and easier for users to locate and sort their work.

More granular rating capabilities

We are extending rating capabilities to allow you to define additional weights for individual options within a rating criterion. This enhancement enables more precise ordinal ranking and calculation, giving you granular control over how different rating levels influence overall element scores.

Besides, you may already anticipate the following:

API

  • Extend API webhook capabilities to configure webhooks to trigger immediately upon the execution of specific workflow actions, enabling advanced event-driven workflow automations, such as notifying a downstream system the moment an "Approve" button is clicked.

  • Extend UI-visible system logs in the REST API for extended audit log capabilities.

Basic fields

  • Optimize the display of segment fields to clearly visualize the relationship between different segment levels.

  • Increase the depth of the segment field type to support advanced client use cases, e.g., to map complex organizational hierarchies.

Campaigns

  • Expanding the POST and PUT capabilities for ideas to utilize custom submission fields in your API requests, allowing for more detailed and automated updates to campaign data beyond the standard default fields.

  • Introduce a new configuration option to make rating comments in rating campaigns mandatory, requiring evaluators to provide qualitative evidence alongside their scores to make every assessment transparent, traceable, and understandable for stakeholders during the decision-making process.

Parent child

  • Introduce filtering capabilities to the child entity tab on parent elements to quickly locate specific child elements based on their individual field values—such as status, date, or custom child fields—directly from the parent view.

Permissions

  • Enable new permission settings for more precise control over who can view or edit content during the draft stage, supporting advanced workflows where multiple contributors must refine an element before publication.

Ratings

  • Introduce a new configuration option to make rating comments for both standard and context ratings mandatory, requiring evaluators to provide qualitative evidence alongside their scores to make every assessment transparent, traceable, and understandable for stakeholders during the decision-making process.

Roadmap

  • Improve UI for a cleaner, more readable roadmap layer structure and new capability to provide specific information or instructions per layer.

UX/UI

  • Improve the rating tooltips and comment interface to provide opportunities for better rating criteria-specific guidance.

Upcoming release - Enterprise 3.25.0 (by the beginning of Q3 2026)

Following are some highlights for another upcoming release that will help you innovate better. Faster. Together.

Date picker reminder improvements

We are enhancing the date picker reminder feature to allow for multiple, independent reminders per date picker field, enabling different email templates to be sent to various recipient groups for the same deadline. This improvement enables more targeted reminder workflows. Furthermore, "after-deadline" triggers will be supported to assist in tracking overdue tasks and escalating missed milestones effectively.

Mirroring API and application-level permissions

We are introducing enhanced Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for the ITONICS REST API to ensure data remains secure and confidential. [cite_start]With this update, API access will be able to strictly mirror application-level permissions, e.g., if a user role is restricted from viewing specific content in the web application—such as a certain technology or trend—they will not be able to bypass these restrictions via direct API calls.

You may already anticipate the following:

Campaigns

  • Extend capabilities of ideation setups utilizing parent-child relationships and workflows to bring greater consistency in comparison to ideation with the Campaigns module, including a bulk rating feature.

Permissions

  • Enhance the permission setup for entity type management, giving you increased flexibility and granular control over who can modify an entity’s configurations.

User management

  • Allow the provision of further user information on user cards shown on hovering over a user search field in the view form for flexibility and understandability.

UX/UI

  • Redesign the configuration interface for segment fields to provide a more intuitive administrative experience, making it easier to configure and manage hierarchy fields.

  • Redesign the configuration UI for all rating configurations (incl. ideation/campaign module) to ensure a more intuitive configuration experience.
