What is an inspiration?

An inspiration is a type of element in the Explorer that is a concrete example of an emerging trend or technology and its application.

Inspirations are spontaneous ideas, market observations, found objects from the Internet, or suggestions from, e.g. trade fairs or industry events. They do not follow a structured process and can be generated continuously and within the framework of targeted campaigns.

You would typically collect inspirations with your scouting teams to create evidence and context for better understanding certain trends, technologies or to monitor what start-ups and competitors are doing in the market.
