This release focuses on improving how you communicate with External Users, upgrading the Element-Specific Timeline, and improving the general user experience to streamline the way you innovate.

External User Communication Feature
We implemented the External User Communication Feature, which allows you to manage incoming submissions, and easily communicate with your External Submitters to keep them informed about the status of their Submission. By using the ITONICS Workflow, you can now semi-automate notifications to be sent out to the new External Submitter Persona as the Recipient. Now, when selecting Notification (1) as the Trigger Type for the respective Action Button, you can choose a template from your email templates of type Workflow (2) to be sent out to the External Submitter as the Recipient (3) and save your selection (4).
Filtering the Element-Specific Timeline
The filter functionality of the Element-Specific Timeline (1) has been extended. You can now apply Quick Filters to immediately filter for predefined actions such as Rating Activities and Workflow changes. You can also select from a dropdown of actions that have been performed, such as: Create, Share, Comment, Like, and Follow (2). In addition, a Date Range Filter can be applied to narrow down the timeline to only show activities that occurred during a specific time period (3), as well as a User Search Field that allows you to filter for actions conducted by a specific, or multiple Users (3).
To get a deeper understanding of how much time has passed between two actions, a duration indication has been added to the timeline. This can be used, for example, to find out how long an Element has remained in a Workflow Phase (4).
Aggregated Ratings: Weighted Rating Criteria
Once you have configured the Aggregated Rating for a Rating Group, you can now apply different weights for each rating criteria in use. These newly added weights will then be used to calculate the aggregated average.
By weighting the different rating criteria, you can deem specific criteria more important than others. This extra layer of context allows you and your team to dig even deeper into analyzing ratings and making the right decisions to achieve certain goals.
